Title: Program Avast Password

Hi There!

I am trying to access the downloaded program for avast to run additional scans of my computer.  Any time that I click a button in the program screen it asks for my password.  I type it in and hit enter and it promptly tells me it's incorrect.   So I figure I am using an out of date password and try to reset it on the Avast website. 

After I reset the password I go back to computer program and type in my new password.  It tells me it's incorrect so I try again in case of typos.  I do this several times (and miraculously don't lock my account) and each time it tells me that the password is incorrect.

Tried uninstalling or repairing the program but it (ironically) asks for a password to follow through.

What am I doing wrong?  How do I get the program to work with my new password?

You can't reset the avast password thorough the website.
The password for avast and for your avast account are two different things.
