Title: Someone trying to access my pc?
Post by: REDACTED on March 13, 2017, 02:20:44 PM
So the on the 11th i ran into to problems with my pc, it was running slow etc. First thing i did was run a scan and everything was fine. I checed my firewall logs and i have a lot of traffic trying to get in from the same IP address which is 192.168.1.4, a lot of it seems to be trying to get to an application in my system 32 folder. If anyone coud shine some light on this that would be very appreciated. Sorry if there are things i am missing as this is my first time posting here. Any more information that is needed i will provide

Thanksk

That (192.168.1.4) is a local IP address, see http://www.dummies.com/computers/computer-networking/installation-set-up/what-are-ip-addresses-in-home-networking/ (http://www.dummies.com/computers/computer-networking/installation-set-up/what-are-ip-addresses-in-home-networking/).

You're welcome.

The dumb thing would have been not to ask about something you were concerned about.
