Title: Glitch in the Avast browser extension
Post by: REDACTED on March 14, 2017, 02:34:35 AM
Avast browser extension has recently started to show more than one checkmark next to the links that pop up after the search. Sometimes it's 4 of them and sometimes way more, either way it's quite annoying.

History, or cache? Which one is to be cleared? This is an important distinction, as these are two totally different items. If users are to clear cached site pages, and images, then they should clear their cache. If users are to clear their history of visited websites, they should clear their history.

Sorry to nitpick this one, but proper information is important to keep from confusing readers. :)

What would browsing history have anything to do with the extension glitching? I could understand the cache, but history is literally just that... a list of links to previously visited websites (Along with dates of visits)... nothing more.
