So far I have seen nothing but bad optimization and glitches in this version of Avast, one of which is this wifi inspector glitch that occurred recently. The problem started few days ago when avast told me that I need to update my repeater's firmware for security reasons, so I complied and did what i was advised. Nevertheless, Avast still tells me that my firmware is out of date, even though the update went smoothly. Also, the repair option (that everybody recommends here) didn't work.
