Title: Avast's firewall Blocking connection to websites
Post by: Kevin311 on April 13, 2017, 10:50:32 PM
Hey everyone,

for some reason Avast's firewall is blocking me connecting to specific websites. As i am currently working in the back end of a website you can imagine my frustration when avast keeps blocking the website from loading. Its not only this website either, its blocked other websites such as Tickspot.

The only work around i've found for this is turning the firewall on and off to unblock the website, Does anyone know whats causing this?

Cheers

try turn off port scan

Avast UI -> Protection -> Firewall -> Settings -> Advanced -> Uncheck "Enable automatic port scan detection"
