Title: Upgrade
Post by: REDACTED on June 24, 2017, 09:18:45 AM
I recently came back to Avast! Antivirus after trying out other software. I bought two Avast! Internet Security licenses for two devices, but I can't seem to locate how to turn off the "upgrade" button. It doesn't say upgrade on my Windows 10 tablet, but it does for my Windows 10 laptop. Is there a way to turn off that green button?

One license for three systems would have been a lot cheaper.

If the "upgrade" is a pop-up you can disable it in the settings.

No, it's on the GUI. I'll keep looking!

You could perform a clean installation of avast and use the license file.
I doubt it will make a difference, but you try it of course.

Afraid you will be stuck with it as I have done a clean install before, and the upgrade is still there.
The only ones who can get rid of it is Avast, as this is a part of their promoting their products.

Cheers

Have that too.  Only possible upgrade is to Premier, so you can guess where the upgrade would lead to.
