Hi there. I decided to try out Avast's cleanup for the 30 day trial. Near the end of the trial, I decided it wasn't for me and I cancelled the auto renewal, I even have the email saying that I did. A few days later around when the trial ended I was charged anyway, which made me pretty upset because I know I cancelled it. So I put in a support ticket about the auto renewal and someone kindly disabled it. A bit later I put in a ticket for a refund. Now it's been a little bit over two weeks and i'm still waiting for a refund.

I'm alsop trying to put in a ticket for a refund and it says my invoice is supposed to have a password. It doesn't. I asked for a password to be sent to me, and I have gotten nothing. I'm getting pretty angry. Pretty easy to keep my money if you don't let me request it back.

avast doesn't ask for a password if you want to create a ticket.

It certainly did and had a picture of the email showing where to find it. Mine didn't have it. The "ticket" even had a request link for a new one. But I'm not here to argue. I just called Cleverbridge where I got to talk to a real person and got my refund right away. No dealing with Avast ticket drama and confusion. I suggest others do the same if they want to avoid unnecessary wait times. Good luck!
