Title: What did Avast Clean up Do?
Post by: REDACTED on June 28, 2017, 06:28:31 PM
I tried Avast clean up and let it do its thing. The next morning I noticed that my spell checker wasn't working anymore on sites like reddit or well typing this. What did Avast Clean Up do and how do I get my spell checker back? (Windows 10 using Internet Explorer) It was working (underlining misspelled words in red) with no problems until after I ran Avast Clean up. And yes I checked Win 10 settings spell check is on and works for Google but no other web page.

I would say download IE11 and install it on top of the existing version.

When I hit download it just takes me to a page that says if I have windows 10 I already have IE 11

This is so fustrating, I never realised how much I'd come to depend on the spell checker.
