A friend of mine wanted to get the right answer from me, but I already what is the right answer but I want to get a second opinion about this. We all know that IOBIT is a bad program to use especially their antivirus program and all their other programs, driver booster, and etc etc. Does this also include their Defragmenter tool known as SmartDefrag? Is this program bad for your machine?

There is nothing from IOBit that is trusted.
How many times do we have to tell is ?

Trust is a company wide issue, not a product wide issue.

Avast would certainly recommend the following:

What wrong with Windows built in Defragmenter on Win 7 and above, it's fully automated and Trim for SSD's is generally better than third party products imo.

Yeah I installed that yesterday.

As I explained in another thread, defragging has basically become obsolete since the introduction of ntfs.

Agree with Eddy, there is no need to do this under normal circumstances.
