Title: Please urgently make a "don't ask again" button for saving passwords
Post by: REDACTED on August 16, 2017, 04:11:25 AM
When you go to a website and fill in a password - Avast asks "do you want to save: yes / no". EVERY TIME.... even if you've been to that website 50 times and said NO do not save. PLEASE urgently create a button - "do not ask again".
Plus - on banking sites, it is automatically creating a password (and this fights you when you try to enter the real password). I have gone through all the settings and can not find an option to NEVER suggest a password automatically. It is an irritating system and needs to be controllable.
(The saved passwords option itself is good - but these glitches just make pure frustration)

Thanks for your feedback.

You can disable asking for saving password in extension popup (click on extension icon in browser's action bar and then uncheck relevant checkbox). It should work generally for all domains and subdomains of the site.
If it doesn't work please let us know on which domain/site. We will verify the issue and fix it.
For password generator issue it seems that for some reason we are wrongly identifying login dialog as registration and that is causing putting  password generator to inappropriate field. Please let us know the site where we are causing such issues and we will fix it as well.
We will also consider the option with disabling password generator feature for certain sites.
