Title: Whitelist and Blacklist settings not saved
Post by: Patrick99 on August 18, 2017, 06:36:20 PM
Using Avast Premier v. 17.5.2303 (build 17.5.3585.203)

The Back up settings feature puts up a dialog implying that it is actually saving the white and black lists of the Anti-Spam component. Yet when I check the saved settings file that is used for backup, that file does not contain these email addresses. If these addresses are not being saved, the user dialogs that are presented when saving Avast settings should not imply these lists are being saved. If they are not being saved a means of exporting these lists would be helpful.

It would also be helpful for the main Avast window to show the Anti-Spam link as past versions did. Getting to the white and black lists requires several mouse clicks before being able to add an email address to these lists.

Why not sett it in the spamfilter of your mail provider?

Why of course that can be done. The issue is actually related to the Avast user interface that implies that these white and black lists are actually being backed up when in fact they are not.
