Title: No 'This site is safe' green tick from today

Please help.Started my laptop today (31 Aug 2017) and Avast Free version prompted an update as usual. 30 mins later I restarted and all seems fine EXCEPT there is now no green 'this site is safe' or the gery ?? etc against any site.

Am on Win 7, Chrome, but no ifdea which version of that or Avast - can't see anyway to get version number for Avast.

Driving me mad as i have never had any problems with Avast in 10 years and yet this is bizarre.

Hi Chris, you might need to check if the Online Security extension is still enabled/installed in your Chrome browser, that should get things fixed for you.

Man thanks Pete that seems to have done it, in that although when I checked (having googled to find out how) the extension was installed and working, I unchecked then checked it and restarted Chrome and that seems to have done it.
