Title: Avast Premier SERIOUS Malfunction!
Post by: Anthony J. on September 09, 2017, 01:56:47 PM
Hello,

My debit card was debited $79 and confirmed by email from Avast below:

Your Avast Premier - 1 PC has been successfully renewed.

Thank you for continuing to trust Avast to care for your PC. We appreciate your loyalty.
You’ll find the details of your plan below.

Your Auto-Renewal Order Summary
Product
Avast Premier - 1 PC
Order ID 41483654900
Price charged $79.99
Automatically renewed to September 7, 2018

Now, the irony is, last night I got an alert that I was not protected and that I should renew my subscription (strange that, cos they practically took my money).

Anyway, I went back to that confirmation email and clicked on the link to check my order status, by signing in to avast.com/find-order with my login credentials.

I picked up an Activation Code, inserted that to my Avast, and once done I got a message that says  that they'd sent the code to my email. Well, I NEVER GOT THAT EMAIL. And when I tried again today.... NEVER GOT THAT EMAIL either!

Support has not responded to my email... since yesterday. Can somebody help?

Thanks

Anthony

Please post in the correct forum as this has nothing to do with the https://my.avast.com website.

Which IS the correct forum?

I think Eddy just likes winding people up, if not he is often just plain rude/blunt but not all that informative.

FWIW I would have posted your problem here as well.

I would suggest sending another email to customer.care@avast.com just in case yours did not get through.
If you received an email acknowledging receipt of your email then give them two or three days to have a
look at your account.
I had a problem with SLVPN and my request for a refund was acknowledged and
actioned in less than three days.  Hope this is more helpful than Es reply.
