Title: SecureLine VPN is not going private
Post by: REDACTED on September 25, 2017, 06:36:47 PM
I have recently purchased Avast Internet Security package,
I'm unable to activate SecureLine VPN, nothing happens when I click on "GO PRIVATE" button.
What do I have to do to set it up?

SecureLine is not part of any av package, you need to take a seperate subscription for it if you want to use it.

Get it through the website if you want it.

On a note, Opera has a free VPN built in.

I have Avast Internet Security and recently purchased SecureLine VPN. Unfortunately, when trying to connect/turn VPN on I receive following error: "SecureLine VPN connection failed. Sorry, it is not possible to establish a connection. (paraphrase) ..see FAQ..." Called Tech Support, they logged in remotely and saw multiple bundle/preinstalled AV apps on my system. I have since removed them except Windows Defender--cannot figure how to do this. TS wanted to upsell a Tech Support package for "special" price of $159 to remotely remove and resolve the problem with their "special tools" (only available thru expanded upsell package). I am running Win10 Home, 64-bit. Any experience and resolution out there? Thanks

mista3rd,

start your own thread.
As has been told over 100`s of times, that number is a third party NOT avast.
