In avast pro, I've added a task "Weekly scan" that will scan c:\windows
I've also created ( at 20:00 ) a scheduled task "Windows analyze" to start every sunday at 20:30.
Can someone tell me why the scan hasn't started today at 20:30.
Sincerely.

I need more info to guess what's happening...
Maybe the avast logs, maybe you're not logged at that account (administrator) at that time...
For me, a daily scheduled scan always work when I'm logged. ::)

There's no need to be logged on for the scheduled task to be started.
gtaillandier, how do you know that the task wasn't started? Didn't the session appear in the list?

gtaillandier,
Assuming you set the Time Offset correctly in your forum profile your question was posted at 15:29:39, or 5 hours before the scan should have run. Maybe you checked too soon.
M
Edit: This is strange. The time stamps change depending on whether I'm logged in or not (3:29:39 vs 8:29:39).

Hello
( I Apologize for my english, but I'm French )
When I look at the log, I have :
- test started at 22:29
- test ended at 22:45
When I look at the task in "session", I have :
- stated : ended
- speed : 4,2 MB/s
- execution time : 0:15:19
- number of files tested : 24395
- number of folders tested : 1023
- number of infected files : 0.
-
So, the test actually was started, wasn't it?
(OK, there may be a few seconds difference between the start time and the scheduled one... ;))

Igor
You really think that 2 hours is a few seconds ?
I've created the task to start at 20:30 and it started at 22:29.
-
Ah, sorry, I didn't check the time correctly - I thought the difference was only one minute (29-30); two hours is certainly too much. Maybe there's some problem with the timezone in the program... ? :-\
Can you please try if the problem is reproducible? (i.e. if the scheduled task always runs 2 hours later?)
What timezone have you set on your system?

I don't understand
I've created :
- in task : "Test" at 20:54 to scan c:\Program Files.
- in scheduled : "Test" at 20:55 to run once at 21:00.
A few seconds after 21:00, there was an icon in the systray ( scan active ).
No problem : scan started at 21:00:01 and ended at 21:04:16.
I'll wait next sunday to see if the scheduled task will run at the right time.
Sorry.

Hi
No more problem. The scheduled task has started at the right time.
Sincerely.
