I just got a new phone and installed avast mobile anti theft.
I went through all the steps for my new galaxy S8. Allowed all permissions. Linked to my avast account.
When i log into my avast acount from my computer, my new phone has a red symbol next to it and when i click i get an error message that says "WE ARE SORRY, BUT DETAILED INFORMATION FOR DEVICE SM-G950W IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE."
Why is this happening?

What Android version ?
Are you using the latest paid AMS ?

Hi, do you mean the standalone Anti-Theft (4.2.0)? This app is not supported any more, the only anti-theft solution we provide now is within the Avast Mobile Security Pro.

I have the same issue, and my phone is locked, so i cannot recover my device :( Please help !!!

my phone is also lock and my pin is not accepted. it email me that i change my sim card, maybe that's why the device info is not available so i cannot control it remotely. when i connect in the internet to change my pin, its cannot connect to my email. is there any suggestion of how i can resolve it? please help!

I have anti theft installed on my s7 as well. I need it removed; I have been locked out. I accessed my account via browser to reset my pin, but this message appeared: “WE ARE SORRY, BUT DETAILED INFORMATION FOR DEVICE SM-G930F IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE.”
Need help on this urgently!

I have been having this issue for ages. My older tablet has had this message since I got it a few years ago (can't remember how long ago it was), and now my new S8 and Tab E, which I got at the end of September also have this issue.
I have tried turning the Anti-Theft off and back on, but that doesn't work. I don't know what else to try.
