Title: exe file downloads for mac??

Hi, I just installed avast on my mac, and I'm trying to install and use passwords on my iPhone. Many confusing things are happening. I installed on my laptop for chrome and safari, imported passwords from chrome, and then I clicked "secure another device". Despite choosing mac, it downloaded an .exe file. I downloaded the passwords app for my iPhone, logged into my avast account, and it says "no passwords yet!". Why doesn't it find my passwords through my avast account? I logged into my avast account through the iPhone app, it only shows my laptop under devices. When I tap "secure another device", it again downloads an .exe file to my iPhone!! I am completely confused and don't know what to do next. Please help!

This happened to me also.  Apparently, Avast does not work with Macs.
