Will avast free home work with mozilla firefox? also will the email scanner work with
Mozilla thunderbird? :)

If I install this antivirus will there be a plug in for mozilla thunderbird or is it already a part of the software?  Iam usuing AVG now.

It shouldn't need any configuration or plug-in for Thunderbird (assuming you are using XP w2k or NT). The internet Mail provider works with most pop3 email clients.

You would need to fully uninstall AVG to avoid conflict with two on-access scanners.
