As the title says - Avast Free Antivirus ignores the silent mode setting altogether for a couple different messages. Network connection messages seem to go right through silent mode, and in addition, the information popup "X Title was added to your gaming list" ignores silent mode - which I find highly irritating as a gamer. Silent mode is supposed to SUPPRESS undesirable popups during gameplay, not encourage the program to display them! This has been an ongoing issue for several months now.
If this is not corrected soon, I will be switching to a different product and I will no longer be recommending avast products.
