Title: not able to sign in iCloud.com with web scanner on

I log in and it says can not contact the server. if i disable the web scanner i get in fine. anyone have any ideas don't like disabling that feature especially in the web. running a late 2014 matchbook air with the newest high Sierra 10.13 update
