My computer has crashed twice now with AMD Northbridge fatal error whea-logger error 0x00000124 bugcheck for the second time in a few days now.. I just want this issue fixed :( I'm like crying over this i got this computer for $600 back in April.
Its cyberpowerpc brand with the follow specs
AMD FX-6300
GA-78LMT-S2 Rev 1.2
8GB DDR3
AMD RX 460 2GB

Please somebody just tell me if this is a issue i need to get a new CPU or motherboard from cyberpowerpc under the warranty :( I just want my investment to be good choice and not a failure as i am feeling right now.. :( :-[

Bug check on the error shows fatal hardware issue, personally I'd send the computer back and get a new one.

This PC warranty only covers parts for a year and workmanship labor 3yrs. It's built with all off the shelf parts. You don't think that the North bridge on the motherboard is failing and that's why I get AMD North bridge fatal error in event viewer after these black screen crashes do you?
Edit: I got the PC back in April and they said refund period is 30 days.

Sounds like you need to get the system bench checked at a reputable repair place.

So far i did a few stress tests myself, From 3dmark futuremark, A CPU stress test that i was linked to from howtogeek, and memtest86.. I think i might be narrowing down the issue.

Can I get some of your opinion please. Apparently they built this PC with a old 2012 motherboard but there is a newer I could buy myself a 2017 motherboard and have installed just one thing.. I'd lose my warranty that runs out anyways in April 2018. Should I just get the newer Mobo and make it more compatible with Windows 10? I'd be upgraded from and 760g to AMD 990fx. Plus I'd get uefi and sata 3 and USB 3.1 support

A new MB might also give you a problem with your MS license.

Microsoft confirmed that my license key would/should work on any PC build.

Cyberpowerpc is wanting me to send the PC back to them to replace either motherboard or CPU.. They think it might be one of the two.

I would create an image and then return it asap.
