Title: Addonjet
Post by: Elijah B. on November 01, 2017, 10:26:15 PM
The Chrome browser, when using google, always shows the first several entries as 'ads by addonjet'. In trying to find out about addonjet all I find are various websites that claim addonjet is malware and a PUP, and they all offer a downloadable program to remove it from the computer, which I don't trust without some independent verification. I cannot find anything else about addonjet; not in relation to avast or malwarebytes or anything else. Nobody seems to be talking about it except those sites that are pushing the removal programs.

So can avast remove this unwanted malware? Can anyone offer some real advice on getting rid of addonjet?
