Title: Safezone Browser
Post by: catinahat on November 03, 2017, 10:19:23 PM
I installed avast free using the custom installation process on a new laptop the other day. After the installation had finished I realised the safezone broswer was missing and I must have forgotten to select it (or inadvertently unticked it), so I modified the installation via the control panel and noted that safezone browser was no longer listed as an option to install. This confused me, because my other laptop has the free version and has the safezone broswer installed, and it is running the latest version of avast free.

A google search lead me to an avast FAQ which states the safezone browser has temporarily been pulled as of 1st September. Does anyone know when it will be offered again? And if it will continue to be offered with the free version? Hoping someone from avast might chime in, since I appreciate only they will likely know the answer this this. Thanks.

Oh thanks Asyn! Somehow I completely missed seeing a separate section on the forum for Safezone. :/ Sorry about that.

And good to know it won't be too far away. Hopefully they'll keep the video download function - it's the only one out there I trust. :)
