Title: run other programs while scanning

Can I run other programs while Avast is quick or thorough virus scanning. I imagine it can slow the scan down, but am wondering if it messes up the scan in other ways.

Be aware that all Antivirus programs have realtime protection, meaning EVRYTHING that goes on in your computer when on is monitored/scanned in realtime
