Title: breakup fault
Post by: biolinux on May 13, 2006, 07:30:21 PM
Hi,I did download avast for linux.tgz.
Then I opened it and register it for me.
When I want to start it, I see thes message :

[biolinux@Bagatir bin]$ ./avast
./avast: line 150: 13448 Breakup fault       $AVAST_PREFIX/bin/$programname $*
[biolinux@Bagatir bin]$ ./avastgui

(avastgui:13472): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "galaxy",
./avastgui: line 150: 13472 Cancelled            $AVAST_PREFIX/bin/$programname $*
[biolinux@Bagatir bin]$

What can I do?
My system is Mandriva 2006 powerpack on Toshiba Satellite L10-102
Thanks...

Have you tried running Avast?   the ".avast" folder is the hidden folder in  your Home directory.    Doesn't Mandriva have an installer?

Hi,
I have Mandriva 2006 also installed and avast4workstation works there (also with Gtk-WARNING).
Mabe try the latest beta version:

http://lion.asw.cz/~mensik/avast4workstation-1.0.6b.tar.gz
http://lion.asw.cz/~mensik/avast4workstation-1.0.6b-1.i586.rpm

for info about Gtk-WARNING see:

Thanks dublin.  It seems the same problem is with Suse 10.0 as well.
