Title: false postitive, how to recover the file
Post by: REDACTED on December 12, 2017, 02:39:30 PM
Hi,

I have compiled an installer for a software that I made using c++, and compiling using cmake/cpack/visual studio.

I can't run the installer.exe, it says "threat name": Win32:Evo-gen . I am pretty sure this is a false positive (recently format the computer and reinstall everything, not downloading anything suspicious on it etc ... and this is the installer that I made myself.

I see it appear in virus chest in avast. I can delete it forever but I don't find how to restore it ...
there is a little arrow next to delete that I supposed was to select other option, but when I click on it, nothing happens.

Regards

Repair Avast:
1. Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> Avast
2. Click on 'Repair'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.

ok thanks, I can now "restore" it. which is nice.
but nice time I run it it does the same, moving to the virus chest  ....
It's a little boring to restore it each time I use it ...
is there a way to "restore it definitely" ?
