hey... i'm new member,
i have question about virus name borax, can avast v 4.x fixed this virus ? this virus i found in my country ( indonesia )

I don't find a reference to that name (borax) when I search the avast-site.

If you have this virus, pack the file with zip, and protect it with a password (e.g. "virus") and send it to virus@avast.com.

Unfortunately there is no standard naming convention for virus names, so there may be many different names (aliases) for the same virus.

The problem is identifying those names, it is also known as Brontok and avast has 21 listed in the virus database One of these is a generic detection for Win32:Brontok [Wrm] which should catch a number of variants with the same generic signature detection. This worm however, is mutating (different variants) very fast in Indonesia so it is a fight to keep up.
