I was on a Yahoo Answer page and an Avast message stated that xml.plaimedia.com was safely aborted because it was infected with html:RedirME-Inf(Tr).
It is not listed in the Virus Vault and no issues are detected when an AVG full virus scan and MalwareBytes scan were performed.
I went back to the same Yahoo Answers page but there was no issue.
What is this about?

Are you using Avast or AVG..?
-
Avast-I typed the wrong anti-virus program in the right forum.
-
OK, as Avast blocked it (guess web-shield), nothing to worry about.
-
Why didn't the issue arise when I visited the same webpage again?

There can be many reasons (e.g. different ad, server, etc...).

When Avast states that xml.plaimedia.com was 'safely aborted,' in this context, does aborted mean the same thing as safely blocked?
