Title: Won't let me download program

Avast is driving me crazy. I have purchased a Multi Tiff program that I have tried to download for a month. Avast promptly stops the installation to say it has found a very rare virus and it will take 154 or so hours to review. When I next turn on the computer the next day it says the program is ok. I run the download installation procedure and Avast finds the rare virus again.

I would really like to download this editor to use it but this put it on hold, OK and put on hold is preventing me from installing the program and is driving me insane. I enter in the installation file name in the exclusion list and it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Please help me. If this insanity continues, I will have to use another virus program. I have wasted hours and hours on this. Tried loading the error message to post but I am unable to attach on this board it seems.

Help is appreciated.
