Well this hasn't changed in many years and is what we have been suggesting for a long time.

At least this one is a more recent article for reference than the older ones.

CAN I SAFELY DELETE WINDOWS DEFENDER PROFILES OR THE TOTAL APP WITHOUT ISSUES FROM AVAST INTERNET SECURITY?

CAN I SAFELY DELETE WINDOWS DEFENDER PROFILES OR THE TOTAL APP WITHOUT ISSUES FROM AVAST INTERNET SECURITY?
No need to touch Defender as Avast automatically disables it, and you cant remove Defender as it's part of the operating system.

Just a bit of correction, Defender auto deactivates any time a third party AV is added.

Maybe another bit of correction: everytime I start my W10 machine, Avast is deactivated by Defender!

What can I do (see screenshots after Avast virus update)?
You can't deactivate Defender in W10 via services!  ???

As you can see in my second screenshot: Avast is set to 'automatic', but why didn't start?
Another question: what will happen, if I start Avast via services?
