Title: MY WIFES PC WONT BOOT PAST WINDOWS LOGO

My wifes PC has been working fine. She tried to start it up today and it wont load past the windows logo so she tried to boot it in safe mode. It keeps hanging at system32/drivers/aswbidsha.sys Im trying to help her fix this. She is beyond frustrated and so am I. Searching google for an answer, I came across several people having this issue but no answers as to how to fix it. Please help.

What operating system ??? What security programs are installed ???

thank you for your reply I discovered the reason for the hang up is a processor issue. Thank you though
