Title: lost setting password

i want to get rid of  my password i put on my own device had a bad night and i did set a password to lock settings changes.Unfortunately i don't remember it nor know it at all don't want to uninstall or clear my all computer files for this stupid issue.

Hello, you may use this procedure to remove password protection on your Avast settings.

I'm afraid this is the only solution if you can't remember the password you have set.
You may try to ask for help in correct forum section for your case, this one is intended for Avast passwords - Password manager.
