Title: How can I turn on Avast?

Hi I'm having a little problem I installed Avast 4.7 Home Edition Build 2006 4.7.844  version 0622-4                                             I put my computer into system restore and  when it  started  a window came out saying Your computer is at Risk and  Avast is turned off  How do I turn it on? and also can I have windows firewall on too with avast? I really need your help on this one my computer is at risk PLEASE HELP>>>>>>

Firstly welcome to the forums, secondly this should be in the avast 4 Home/Pro forum http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=2.0 this forum is for the server edition of avast. Perhaps one of the Moderators can move it.

Have (or did) you have another AV installed in this system, if so what and how did you get rid of it ?
What Operating System are you using ?
