Avast installed itself on my computer without my permission i have no idea how it happened. i shut down my computer yesterday , turned it on this morning without paying too much attention to things then suddenly avast appears installed with offers to buy the upgraded version.
I have never had avast on anything i owned and have not even searched for it there was no download . I just checked my download record on chrome and the only avast there is the avast clear that i used to uninstall it . I also checked my downloads folder and there is no avast there other than the avast clear. So how do you explain that, its a huge violation of trust and i have no idea how it happened. i thought maybe its a virus but the avast clear uninstalled it . This unnerved me as i have no clue how it happened.
