Title: Windows 7 x64 can't restart after 18.1.2326 update
Post by: wrooot on February 14, 2018, 05:44:17 AM
Yesterday i have updated my 17.9.2322 installation with the newest one (manually from Update section). Windows hanged on the first restart required after the update. Next day i have tried to restart a few times and it hanged again (power button glows, monitor goes into saving mode (no signal), but PC doesn't shutdown). Went back to previous version and everything is fine now.

P.S. i wish Avast would preserve its setting upon uninstall, so i wouln't have to configure everything after installing older version again..

It's up to the user to decide if he wants to save Avast settings, and then save them.

In the Avast user interface, go to Settings | General  and scroll down to the bottom.  Click on "Back up settings".

Updated to 18.3.2333 today. No such issue anymore.
