Title: Skins
Post by: RF on June 16, 2006, 04:59:00 AM
OK Team Avast, here's one I bet you don't want to answer. Those skins that, come Hell or High Water, keep getting automatically downloaded into my Avast Skin folder - you know, "low res", "silver panel" and SZC-KDE? Is this Avast's answer to MS's infamous index.dat? Or the CIA following my surfing habits?

What's the scoop gang?

They're the default skins... each update you take, they'll be there... these three ones...

You can remove default skins through add/remove programs avast *change*, untick skins. This doesn't remove ability to use skins, but should stop default ones comming back.

Nope, I'll just consider them benign and leave them be.

For the record, MacLoverOSX is all I need, even though I don't use one.
