I have a number of accounts/ids that I use in form something@xxxx.plus.com. Most of these usually from forums I subscribe to do not go in to the principal account- id but in to another. For instance, today I received about 9 messages in to one of the subsidiary mail boxes. I also received two completely blank (no sender no subject) messages in to the principal mail box. Are they Avast originated? Why only 2 when there were more messages?
BTW I never opened; I just used Firefox's preview and then deleted

The messages aren't from avast, the only bit relating to avast is the fact that they have been scanned.

The only time you might receive an email that might appear to come from avast is if you have asked to be notified of posts in Topics you either created or contributed to in your forum profile. Then the email wouldn't be empty it would contain some information and a link to that Topic.
