Hi everyone!
I'm trialling the free version of Avast before I full buy the full package. The first thing I noticed is that when AutoHotKey is running, Avast completely freezes and causes the computer to freeze. I cannot do anything, and have to hold down the laptop's power button to reset.
I have never experienced this with AVG or Kaspersky.
I have tried updating AutoHotKey to the latest version, but this didn't solve the issue.
Without AutoHotKey running, Avast behaves normally. However once I start AutoHotKey, I get no error messages but after opening the Avast window, it will no longer to respond to anything, and will not close to the system tray or minimise. As I say, it also freezes the computer so I cannot kill AutoHotKey with the Task Manager.
Anyone come across this issue before and/or can offer a suggestion?
Thank you so much!
Alicia.
