Title: Avast Driver Updater fail
Post by: REDACTED on April 09, 2018, 02:09:39 PM
After running Avast Driver Updater I have no system sound, no printer access, I cannot watch online news, (big static box online), and nothing I own can discover the system bluetooth.  That is all I've noticed in the first 30 minutes.

The worry free, "system restore feature", I was assured of, has been completely useless.

I'm really, extraordinarily, vehemently unhappy with my purchase!  And customer support for this issue has been impossible to find.

I will be seeking the support to save my system from becoming landfill through public channels.  My face book contacts, and online gaming contacts abroad will hopefully have a solution.

Day 4.  Re-installing Windows 10 after a factory restore back to Windows 8 wasn’t as easy as I expected.  I had several hard drive space problems to hurdle.  After Re-partioning my HD I was still very short of the required free space, while keeping my backup intact.  I was still coming up short of 20 gig virgin HD space to D/l Win 10, 64 bit onto.

It was a gamer friend that found the article online with instructions on deleting all of the alternative languages in Windows that made it possible!!  She read the directions to me as I entered them into the command line.

My thanks to them and the author of the instructions!
