Title: Utopia.net
Post by: REDACTED on April 23, 2018, 04:06:47 AM
This is driving me absolutely insane. I have tried just about everything to rid myself of this dreaded "utopia.net" DNS hijack, and it keeps coming back. Shows as a dns suffix in ipconfig /all, and avast sees it as the network I'm connecting to. I have tried deleting the network profile, disabling the NIC, deleting all instances in the registry, flushing DNS, releasing\renewing ip, and an amalgamation of all aforementioned methods combined. Yet, Avast Internet Security still allows it. Color me confused, halp.

Hello.

Welcome.

What avast version are you running?
What operating system are you running?
Are you running Windows firewall or a third-party firewall?

Have you run the WIFI Inspector

From what I've read, you'll probably find something related to
Wannacry Double pulsar ransomeware/ malware virus
If you do, just follow the directions to remove it.
