Title: False virus alert with Rufus 3.0

Hi all, I'm trying to make a bootable copy of windows 8.1 to my USB via a fresh copy I downloaded from Microsoft, on my Microsoft community I've been told to download Rufus via a link provided, I can download it but after doing so my Avast antivirus removes it from downloads and puts it in my virus chest, the link I download Rufus from did say saying something about people having problems with false virus alert with there antiviruses, said it been sorted but cant of as I've got the false alert with mine.

And how long will that take? I need to do this today you see.

Impossible to answer, avast lab has never told us    ;)
