Just wtf ? TOday  i started up my PC.FOr some unknown for me reason date on my PC was changed to 2025y SO i switched back. andthen i noticed something. Even though I paid for full avast experience and still have over 500 days of it.  WHen i try to paste license into program itself It says that there is no product with this license and it's switching back to free version ?  Just WTF ? On my acocunt there is  normal license It's all listed and says that i have those days.  but as soon as i paste that license key or file into program itself it changes back to free year... Can someone plz explain to me why ? Before i lose my ming and start swearing? Also why there is no live support? :<

TRy 2: I deleted my laptop from machines in my account setting. then tried  licenses... Same effect -- NONE !! Ialready filled a ticket but i have noidea what number that was, as i closed site too fast...and that didn't sent any confirmation to my mail.

after correcting your PC time and date, did you reboot?

I don't know if before correcting time and date avast was in correct mode. Inoticed later by absence of firewall screenwhen in should pop.
and i rebooted about 20 times already. as after 10th time that license switched back to free i started uninstalling avast completly in that special windows mode. and now i'm stuck on 30 days trial versionjust to have any firewall going.

- Which version..?
- OS..? (32/64 Bit..? - which SP/Build..?)
- Other security related software installed..?
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast..?

1. Avast  Internet Security paid for 2 years in october 2017
2. Newest i suppose. It downloads and install itself from internet.
3. windows 8.1 64bit.
4. CCCleaner.
5. only avast. in october i bought 2nd time for 2 years again.

done  that right now. As soon as i added that license file  there was a circle stating "updating" and space "licenses onYour PC" changed to "Avast Free Antivirus".

I downloaded license file couple times already from  my account with same results as this one that they sent. There is something wrong with their F database that keeps rejecting my license ? :<

So i'll be back incouple minutes. Need to reinstall avast once more. *sigh*

Also i noticed that even so i am logged in avast program  it doesn't add any machines to my account :<

thnx for giving some of Your time to some frustrated guy across globe :D
As i Myself absolutly lost my mind trying to understand why it's like that.
Avast should have some kind of webchat function. Waiting times would be massive i pressume, but i would help a lot more ;)

Ok.so i think this topic should be closed. Customer support helped. Cause unknown but avast work again. So to guys in charge. Please close this topic.

Topics remain open, but without activity (in this very active support forum) they will quickly drop down the chronologically order of the topic listings.

You can open your first and Modify the Subject/Title and add [Resolved] etc. as I have done with this post.
