Title: Wifi Inspector - DNS Hijack found
Post by: James Blonde on June 20, 2018, 04:19:23 PM
I've got an alert on Wifi Inspector telling me I have an HNS-DNS-HIJACK compromising my network.  The alert is from my PC, not from my router, which is scanning as problem free.  When I check my local network adapter settings, they're showing as using DHCP, and in IPCONFIG shows my default gateway, DHCP and DNS server as my router.  In my router, my DNS is set up to those provided by my ISP.

Any suggestions??

Your PC is clean. Wifi Inspector might be triggered by Private Internet Access VPN software but nothing to worry about. You can uninstall it to see if WiFi Inspector will detect DNS problem again.

Great, thanks all! :D  Thought so, but you see something telling you there's a problem, you want to make sure!  :)
