Title: 32 bit installer running 1000+ times on a 64 bit system

I don't think I've ever used Avast in my life, however I've recently been having problems with memory usage and when I check my task manager, I have over 1000 instances of Avast Antivirus Installer 32 bit running. I am on a 64 bit system. I have tried using avastclear and it never opens.
