Title: Paid licence expired, can not go back to free?
Post by: REDACTED on June 30, 2018, 12:12:57 PM
Hey guys, I tried a paid licence for Avast for a year. Nice, but not going to pay 50 € for it so I plan on going back to free.

The licence is now expired and the renew options are only for paid licences. How can I return as a free user? Or will Avast offer me a bit later another year of 29,99 € for 5 PCs?

Use the Control Panel - Programs and Features - Avast Antivirus - and opt to uninstall it, you should get an option to install Avast free.

Thanks, thats correct. Got nothing bad to say about the paid version, just feel like its a bit overpriced for a family of 5-6 Computers.

Ps. Your captcha at postin is not really a good one.

The captcha will only last for 3 posts — security measure ;)

You're welcome.

It isn't my captcha, I'm an Avast user just like yourself :)

As mentioned it is just for your first 3 posts.
