Title: Unable to activate Avast cleanup

I am unable to activate Avast cleanup as when I try to install it I always get an error message saying an instance of Cleanup is already running.  This applies whether i try it from within Avast (through my account) or from a stand-alone program.  Any suggestions gratefully accepted. 

I've also tried uninstalling the program and re-installing, with no success.

Hi Again,

I appear to have resolved this problem.  I uninstalled the product using Revo Uninstaller rather than Avast.  The install of the stand-alone program worked and I was able to activate it.
