Title: Locked out of phone, I cannot type properly the drawing pattern

Hi! I need some help on my 2 year old samsung s7 edge Android ! For some reason, the alarm set off whilst it was in my bag. I managed to somehow turn the alarm off but my drawing pattern does not work. After putting the PIN in and I try to draw without success my pattern the alarm goes on again over and over again. I do not even get an option to reset it! I tried accessing the phone through My Avast account but even after deleting the devise it continues goin on an on, and its still on.

 Can anyone suggest a workaround? I am running lollipop. I have so much info for work on it so a hard reset is the last resort! Much thanks in advance!
