Title: www.avast.com is unavailable, cannot register
Post by: Jeremy Pitts on July 06, 2006, 12:16:57 AM
I have been unable to access www.avast.com to register my free version of avast!

I have a solid internet connection and all other web sites that I visit are working.  I like avast and would like to continue using it but I have no idea how to register it.

When I try to visit www.avast.com I get the standard error "This page cannot be displayed"

Please help.

Hi Jeremy,

Having avast! in your host file could possibly mean there is malware on your computer.

Are you blocked from accessing any other security related web sites?   See if you can access these:
