Title: My Natwest Online banking page will not load in Bank Mode
Post by: jmarsh2 on July 13, 2018, 04:39:25 PM
I have been using Bank Mode successfully to access my online account at Natwest. Suddenly I cannot log in, the page will not load. This only applies to Bank Mode, I can access my account successfully in Avast Secure Browser. I can also access my another account with a different bank in Bank Mode. My friend is also having the same problem with her Natwest online banking but only in Bank Mode. What has happened? Is the problem with Natwest or bank Mode?

I'd talk to your banker to see if the avast bank mode feature is compatible with their server portal.  Might be they (IT) would need to allow.

[EDIT:]  I've no account with Natwest but still went through the login page.  Seems if you need to allow certain cookies in to proceed, but I cannot say for sure, as I have no banking account with them.

There were warnings that cookies were being blocked (I use an adblocker) on the login page.  Blocking certain cookies could prevent a successful logon.

Try clearing out cookies in the avast browser.

At top right of Avast Browser are three dots, clik this...
Select settings from the drop down
In the search type "cookies"
A link to
"Privacy Cleaner
Clear history, cookies, cache, and more"

I cleaned all cookies & cached images for all time, and then natwest worked in bank mode.
