Title: Computer Acting Up Since Loading and first Scan

PH Laptop with Win7 is now giving me all kinds of trouble since the first scan and following recommended changes. A standard Windows update stuck and failed the next day and had to recover in Safemode to get the system going again.
Now the computer won't  shut down properly, it sticks at Logging Out. I have to force power down.

I have taken off bluetooth devices, mouse, but does no good.

What is happening?
